Want your film featured in Butte Film Festival (BUFF)? Submit here! Films must meet the following requirements in order to be considered:
All films must be submitted before the submission deadline in order to be considered. Submission deadline: December 8th, 2023
This is a student film festival, so filmmakers must be at the student/amateur level. High-school and college-aged filmmakers preferred.
Filmmaker must reside in Butte County or neighbouring counties (Glenn, Tehama, Shasta, Lassen, Plumas, Sierra, Nevada, Yuba, Sutter, Placer or Colusa counties accepted)
Films must be no shorter than 3 minutes and no longer than 15 (exceptions may be considered).
By submitting this form, filmmakers agree to their film being used for promotional purposes.
Film submissions cannot be rescinded once submitted.
*Production quality is not the only factor taken into consideration when it comes to accepting films. Other factors include genre (a limited number of films per genre will be accepted) and location (this festival is meant to be representative of our region, so we don’t want too many submissions from the same location)
